Lily Collins's Engagement and Wedding Rings Reportedly Stolen After Spa Visit

Lily Collins is without her most sentimental jewelry after they were reportedly stolen after a spa visit.

As noted by TMZ, the Emily in Paris star was enjoying a spa day at the West Hollywood Edition Luxury Hotel and Spa in Los Angeles. (Perhaps a post-Met Gala relaxation session?) But when she returned to collect her belongings after her spa services, she found that both her engagement and wedding ring were gone, alongside a few other possessions, include electronics. TMZ reports that there was no sign of forced entry and that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department is looking into the case. They have reportedly classified the items' value at “over $10,000.”

Collins got engaged to her director husband, Charlie McDowell, in 2020. McDowell proposed with a custom, one-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond by jeweler Irene Neuwirth, which Collins showed off on Instagram to announce the happy news. "Thank you for making the most beautiful ring I've ever seen," MacDowell told Neuwirth in a comment.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart SO much for the most stunning, perfect ring. It's breathtaking," Collins added, clearly thrilled about her engagement ring. After the proposal, Collins showed off the new jewels on Live with Kelly and Ryan, telling the hosts, “I was very surprised by it, but it's exactly what I would've wanted and he knew me so well, obviously.”

The pair were married in Telluride in 2021, with Collins wearing a gorgeous long-sleeved lace Ralph Lauren gown with a lace hooded cape.

Collins hasn't shared any information about the theft, but it's clear the pieces mean a lot to her sentimentally so we're hoping the missing jewelry will find its way back to her soon.
